Mechanical Ductwork Installation Engineer
Company JC Commissioning Ltd, Stowmarket
Working areas East Anglia, Occasionally London.
Salary £38k to £42k annually, depending on experience. Fully Employed.
Working hours 40 – 45 Hours per work. Overtime available.
Working Days Day time hours Mon – Fri with occasional evening / weekend works.
Company benefits Full Pension. Leave entitlement that increases with time.
A company van with all tools and specialist equipment provided.
JC Commissioning will fund additional training and the professional
development of the successful applicant.
Job role requirements
- Must be located along the A14 in Suffolk: Cambridge, Newmarket, Bury St Edmunds, Ipswich.
- Experience with ductwork fitting would be highly advantageous.
- Must be experienced with sheet metalwork fabrication and manipulation.
- Must be highly competent in the use of angle grinders, reciprocating saws, drills and hand tools.
- Must be competent working at height on scissor lifts and scaffold towers.
- Works will involve installing galvanised ductwork systems within hospitals, schools and specialist lab facilities.
- Must have good hand drawing skills and competent in the use of a laptop including writing emails.
- Must have good communication skills with clients.
- The successful applicant will be expected to train others in the same job role.
Required Qualifications
- Full Manual Driving License is essential.
